Take a Child Outside or (TACO) week is dedicated to just that- giving children a chance to play in nature! This program is an initiative of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and held in cooperation with partner organizations worldwide.

Description

This week is all about getting kids outside and we don't want to exclude the youngest group of budding naturalists! Mornings at the Preserve are such a special time to explore and play in the woods- we want to share our love of the outdoors with our youngest participants and their adult family or friends! Join our educators for a morning play group designed specifically for the interests of kids ages 1 through 4. We will spend time in our Children's Garden, take a walk in the woods, and dig in the dirt to see what we can find!
